Who We Are
Vision & Purpose Statement

Grace Brethren Church exists to glorify God through
worship, discipleship, service, and mission.

worship
We glorify God through worshiping Him for who He is and what He has done for us in Jesus Christ.
discipleship
We glorify God through discipleship by striving to surrender every aspect of our lives to the lordship of Jesus Christ.
service
We glorify God through service by using our spiritual gifts for the benefit of the Body of Christ.
mission
We glorify God through mission by reaching out to those who are suffering under sin's dominion with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We believe that being a Christian requires an active, living, growing faith in God through our Savior Jesus Christ. We believe in living out Acts 1:8 by putting our faith into action within our church family, in our community, our country, and the world around us.

Statement of Faith
We present the following articles as a statement of faith holding to the basic truths taught in the Bible which are common to our Christian faith and practice. Click here to read our statement of faith or download the PDF.

Grace Brethren Church is lead by an elder board of which the pastoral staff is a part of. See below to view our staff.

Shortly thereafter, Rob sensed God’s call into the ministry and began attending Moody Bible Institute, where he graduated with his bachelor’s degree. He served over eight years as the Associate Pastor of Evanston Bible Fellowship while attending seminary at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, graduating with a Masters of Divinity.

Office Support and Custodial Staff

Deb joined the GBC staff as custodian in 2008. She enjoys keeping the church clean and organized as well as helping Connie, the Office Manager, and both Pastors as part of her daily duties as needed.

It wasn't until a friend invited her to a Women's Bible Study at GBC that she began to hear about having an intimate relationship with Jesus and his saving grace, even though she had a religious background. She trusted in Christ as her Savior in 1995. She was baptized and became a member of the church in 1996 and has been serving the Lord with great joy through many different ministries and opportunities through the years.

Deb currently is on the Women’s Ministry Board, takes a turn to teach in Children’s Church and is a part of the Hospitality Ministry.

Deb married her high school sweetheart Denny in 1977 and they have a daughter and a son. She enjoys baking, cooking, reading, old movies, and traveling to visit their daughter.
